The Tales From The Crypt comic books have been resurrected for a new generation of kids and adults to enjoy. Papercutz has released 2 issues and there are more to come. These are all new stories in the Tales From The Crypt style. The first issue was published in June of 2007, with a cover drawn by Kyle Baker. The artwork is different from the original 1950s comic books but you get used to it after a while. It’s drawn in the new 2000s style and they actually look very good. Issue 1 contains 2 stories: 1. The greatest horror comic of all time is back with all-new tales torn from today’s terror-filled headlines. Issue 2 contains 2 stories: 1. The Garden – The shocking tale of a man named Richard, who is promised servants and beautiful women waiting on him hand and foot in paradise, all in exchange for completing one simple task. 2. The Tenant – The fearsome fate of slumlord James Winchell, who, after one of his tenants dies due to neglect, is forced to live in one of his buildings by a creepy cemetery. While the sneaky slumlord thinks he outsmarted the legal system by moving into a vacant building, he didn’t count on his undead neighbors needing his assistance. |
