A New Halloween movie is being released for Halloween 2007. Rob Zombie has taken the Halloween legend back to its roots. He directed the 2007 Remake of the original 70’s Halloween Movie and man is it cool!

This New Halloween is one of the most anticipated horror movies since the Dawn of the Dead remake. And all reports say this one is gonna be amazing. Rob Zombie has done some ok horror movies already (that heavily referenced old 70’s horror classics) and this one really suits his talents.

Halloween will be released on August 31, 2007 and you can watch a trailer for it here:

I know Rob Zombie is a huge fan of the original Halloween so when it came time for him to direct the remake, he asked John Carpenter if it was OK. Carpenter told him to “make it his own”, and he definitely did.

Here’s what we know: The New Halloween Movie spends a lot more time of Michael Myers as a kid. In the original, that was just one scene at the start. But now it takes up almost the first half of the movie. We get to see all the details we only imagined before. I think it’s gonna be great! But if you’re under 18 then, er, sorry cos it’s R-Rated so you can’t go see it. Aw, poor you. I pity you. But still, you can look at the cool pictures and posters from the movie and watch the trailer.
