The Girl in the Window is a scary story about a young man who sees a beautiful woman smiling at him ffrom the apartment building opposite his own. It is based on a Korean urban legend.
There was a young man who was very lonely. He lived on the 6th floor of an apartment building. One day, he happened to look out his window and noticed a girl standing in the window of an apartment building opposite his own.
The girl was peeking through the curtains and smiling at him. She was very beautiful.
The young man smiled back at her.
Every day, when he looked out his window, he would see her standing there, smiling at him.
Finally, the lonely young man fell in love with the girl and decided to pay her a visit.
He went across the road to her apartment building and climbed the stairs up to her floor.
He knocked on her door, but there was no answer. He knocked again, but there was still no answer.
The young man tried the door and found that it was open.
He peeked inside…
…and was horrified by what he saw.
The girl was hanging by the neck from the ceiling and her body was swaying back and forth in front of the window.
I saw this on Webtoons, i’m not sure who drew this, but it’s a great story!
This story appeared on one of the episodes of The TVseries “Darknet”, except that instead of a girl, there was the man who is hanged!
This reminds me of that episode of “Friends” where Joey keeps misjudging where the woman’s apartment is and going to Ross’s house every time 😂😂😂
