One night, I had a strange dream. In the dream, I woke up and went downstairs looking for my mother. She was lying on the sofa in the living room, but there was a ghostly figure standing next to her. It stood there motionless, just watching her. It had black holes instead of eyes. I wanted to wake up, but I couldn’t. I wanted to scream and warn her, but couldn’t make a sound. I never felt so helpless in my life. I silently begged to be allowed to wake me up. Then I started to cry…
The next morning, I woke up and still felt terrified. I decided to not tell my mother about the dream, because I was sure she would just make fun of me. While we were having breakfast, my mother told me that she had fallen asleep on the couch in our living room the night before, and had a strange dream. In the dream, she said she woke up to find a ghostly figure watching her silently, without moving. She wanted to scream but she couldn’t. Her mouth just opened but no sound would come out. She was sure that it was a dream but she couldn’t wake up. Then the ghostly figure disappeared…
After breakfast, we went into the living room and saw something that made us panic. There was a large dirty stain on the wall behind the sofa. It was in the shape of a person.
I was scared of the picture more than the story itself. And even the picture isn’t that scary. It’s the black empty holes for eyes that scare me. 😟
