Drag Me to Hell is a scary ghost movie from director Sam Raimi. It was made in 2009 and stars Alison Lohman and Justin Long.
Drag Me to Hell begins with a young woman named Christine who works in a bank. She is in charge of granting loans and is trying to impress her boss to get a promotion.
When an old gypsy woman comes into the bank asking for an extension on her mortgage payment, Christine has to refuse her request. The old hag goes nuts and has to be dragged out by security guards.
After work, when she is going back to her car, she meets the gypsy woman in the parking lot. The ugly old crone attacks her and places a curse on her.
Soon afterwards, Christine begins having disturbing nightmares and sees frightening apparitions. She is plagued by things that go bump in the night and decides to visit a psychic to figure out what is going on.
The psychic tells her that someone has put a curse on her. She will be haunted for three days by a demoic force and then, the Devil will come to claim her soul and drag her body down to hell.
