Let's just say I made the mistake of reading it alone in my bed that night. I stopped about three quarters of the way through, and it wasn't until today - 12 years later - that I located the story on the internet and read the ending. It was actually several months ago that I remembered the story while I was laying in bed, and for the life of me I couldn't remember the title, I just remembered the cover of the book and the "Tailypo...tailypo..." that scared me so when I was little. Just thinking about that line gives me shivers, even today. So, after reading the story as an 18-year-old, it's nowhere near as terrifying as I found it when I was six, but you have to wonder what's going through Santa's mind when he gives such a book to a six-year-old. Ok, I have to stop thinking about it now, because I'm not going to be able to sleep...
